With the new features in this release, Centime aims to bring a complete cash flow management experience explicitly targeted at the Manage Payables module users as well as a better Centime experience to all the Users through minor fixes.

Features in 2.7:


Feature 1: View cash flow graphs in Payables

Solution: Manage Payables


Feature details:

Cash flow graph in Manage Payables - Identify the real-time cash flow impact of your Payables action on your business cash flow.


  • Users in Manage Payables can view the impact of their invoice payment on their cash flow through the cash flow graph in the payables dashboard.
  • To view the feature, Users will have to select ‘Cash Flow Graph’ from the drop-down above the AP aging graph.

  • The Cash flow graph is plotted for a 14-day time period, where the red bars represent the invoice payments made to the Suppliers and the blue trend line represents the closing balance for the day. Hovering on the red bar can display the total amount of invoice payments for the day, the payment methods used to make the invoice payments, and the closing balance for the day. Users can monitor the closing balance with respect to the upper and lower closing balance limit as set in the Cash Flow Forecast module.
  • Invoice payments made using credit cards, CentimeCard, or CentimeCash will not affect the closing balance on the payment date.

Feature 2: Users are able to view the digital copy of the check sent to the Supplier

Solution: Manage Payables


Feature details:

View the digital copy of the check sent to the Supplier for invoice payments made via check.


Details:

View the details of the check sent to your Suppliers when you use a check as a payment method for invoice payment.


  • i. For every invoice payment done via check, Users can now view the digital copy of the check sent to the Supplier.
  • ii. Under the ‘Paid Invoices’ tab, the User can click on any invoice paid with a check to see a ‘VIEW CHECK’ button. On clicking this button, Users will be able to see a digital copy of the check sent to their Supplier.

  • Users will be able to see the following details in a table along with the image of the check:    
    1. Check date
    2. Check number
    3. Payee Name
    4. Memo
    5. Amount

Feature 3 - Surcharge amount is shown for credit card payments

Solution: Manage Payables


Feature details:

The surcharge amount, if applicable, is shown while scheduling an invoice payment with a credit card.


  • For all invoice payments done by credit card, wherever a surcharge is charged, the amount can be seen under ‘Surcharge’ in the drop-down panel for all applicable credit card payments in the  ‘Paid Invoices’ tab.

    


  • For invoice payments paid by CentimeCard, the amount generated for payment will be inclusive of the surcharge. The invoice sent to the Supplier will be inclusive of this amount.


User permissions required to access the feature:

  • Manage Payables ->Schedule payments and manage the AP workflow (recall, mark paid, post).

Fixes

  • Manual transactions added for a now-deleted customer/Supplier will be automatically removed from the cash flow forecast.
  • The reason for payout failure on CentimePay payments will now be stated in the error messages.
  • The status of the surcharge posting for an invoice payment by credit card will be shown under the 'Paid invoices' tab. Users will have to specify a General Ledger account associated with the surcharge on the payments settings page.
