How to Create and Manage Table Views

View types in Centime

There are three types of views available for users:

1. Shared Views: Visible to all users with access to the table.
2. Personal Views: Visible only to the creator.
3. Centime Views: Pre-configured views created by Centime for general use.

Creating a New View

To create a new view:

• Go to the Table Section: Navigate to the tab where you want to customize the view. Hover over the header until you see the hamburger menu. 

• Create View: Customize the columns and filters based on your needs.
  • Add views to the table by selecting columns in the column drop-down in the table menu.
• Save view as: Select whether the view is Personal or Shared:
  • Personal: Only you can see the view.
  • Shared: All users with module access can see the view.

• Shared views: When you create a shared view this will be the experence users see when they log into Centime next.
• Select views: You can create as many views as required and access them from the table menu. 

Manage Saved Views

Only the creator of a view can edit or modify it. Once modified, the updated view is visible to all users if it is a Shared view.

• Edit: By selecting Edit View in the table menu you can change the view name.   
• Modify configuration: If you make changes to the columns, width or filters, save the simply save the view in the table menu. 
• Delete a view: Only the creator has the authority to delete a created view. Deleting a Shared view will remove it from all users' access.

Viewer Scenarios

• Centime places users in the last view they worked in when they return to Centime. 
• Viewers can create new saved views based on their modifications, but these changes will not affect the original saved view.
