2. Monitor cash and forecast cash flows

2.1 Cash today

  • Ability to connect Financial Institutions
  • Ability to sync with bank, credit and loan accounts for connected Financial institutions
  • Ability to map bank, credit and loan accounts for connected Financial institutions against corresponding General Ledger accounts of type bank, credit card or liability
  • Ability to view aggregate balances across Account types and Financial institutions
  • Ability to drill into transactions for individual accounts
  • Ability to see mismatch between bank and General Ledger balance when this is greater than 10% (automatically flagged by Centime)
  • Ability to view CentimeCard account balance (only applicable in the case that CentimeCard is applied for and Client is approved)


2.2 Cash flow forecast

  • Centime automatically generates up a cash flow forecast for up to 26 weeks once the initial General Ledger sync is complete
  • Cash flow forecast predictions are generated using a combination of Machine Learning and statistical models with Centime automatically selecting the most appropriate model based on the historical payment patterns of the stream that is being predicted
  • Centime automatically reflects changes to payables, receivables and posted transactions to the cash flow forecast and regenerates predictions accordingly
  • Open payables and receivables invoices along with payment dates and expected payment dates are reflected in the cash flow forecast
  • Any movements to payables or receivables in the corresponding modules are automatically reflected back to the cash flow forecast
  • Open bills and invoices reconciled against predictions to prevent duplicates
  • Ability to view the cash flow forecast in three visualizations, a cash flow waterfall, a cash flow bar graph and a cash flow table
  • Ability to set a minimum cash threshold and maximum cash target
  • Ability to view the cash flow forecast broken into operating, investing and financing cash flows
  • Ability to add manual transactions (one-off or recurring including ability to add a trend as a fixed or percentage value)
  • Ability to see and drill down to all Customers with open invoices, predictions or manual transactions
  • Ability to see and drill down to all Customers with open invoices, predictions or manual additions

2.3 Known issues

2.3.1 Cash today

  • Intermittent Issue with updating name of Financial Institution or Account name
  • Inability to change capitalization of Financial Institution or Account name when updated by the User
  • Disconnected or deleted accounts that are used as funding sources in the payables module will result into payment and / or posting failures


2.3.2 Cash flow forecast

  • Inability to edit predictions (amount, date, exclude) - scheduled for release May 2nd
  • Inability to reconcile credit card statement balance (when credit card account is connected to Centime) against credit card balance payment predictions - scheduled for release May 2nd
  • Inability to automatically reconcile user edits to predictions against newly predicted dates and amounts - scheduled for release May 2nd
