Selecting the category in Monitor KPIs

To access the cash flow category, users can select it from the performance category drop-down.

Cash flow KPIs:

The cash flow performance is mapped through the following KPIs:

  • Cash Flow: This is the net amount of cash transferred into and out of a business in a given period

  • Operating cash flow: This is the measure of the amount of cash generated by a company's normal business operations

  • Net burn rate: This is the rate at which the company is losing money

  • Gross burn rate: This is the total amount of operating costs incurred by the company per month

  • Cash runway: This is the number of days of cash outflows a business could pay out if its inflows were to stop

For the default time period selection, the users can also view the graph of their cash flow performance.

For each graph, key metrics like Opening balance, total cash in, total cash out, cash flow and the closing balance for the selected period is measured.

Users can also choose different analytical views of their cash flow performance.

Time period selection:

Users can choose the time period to analyze the cash flow performance. According to the time period selection, the KPIs are auto-calculated.

To compare performance over identical time periods, users can select the time period range from the 'Add time period' option.

Selecting identical time periods (same range of months) to compare also gives the KPIs trend for the tracked indicators.
