6.1 Cash flow performance

  • Ability to view and analyze cash flow performance by time period as well as compare between time periods
  • Predefined time periods (last quarter, last year, quarter-to-date, year-to-date) and custom time periods (weeks, months, quarters) can be specified by users
  • For the specified time period, users can view cash flow KPIs:
    • Cash flow
    • Operating cash flow
    • Gross burn rate
    • Net burn rate
    • Cash runway
  • Ability to specify a second time period, compare KPIs and see trends
  • Ability to view key metrics for the time period: 
    • Opening balance
    • Cash in
    • Cash out
    • Cash flow
    • Closing balance 
  • Ability to analyze cash flows in the defined time period using three visualizations
    • Cash flow over time: cash inflows, cash outflows and the closing over the time period
    • Cash flow statement: opening balance, operating, financing and investing cash flows split by cash inflows, cash outflows, and closing balance in a standard cash flow statement generated using the direct method
    • Cash flow categories: a sankey diagram enabling the user to view the top 10 sources and destinations of cash within the time period, structured by operating, financing, investing and groups, as defined in the cash flow forecast
  • Ability to drill into transactions
  • Ability to specify filters at the transaction drill down level


6.2 Collections efficiency

  • Ability to view and analyze collections efficiency by time period as well as compare between time periods
  • Predefined time periods (last quarter, last year, quarter-to-date, year-to-date) and custom time periods (weeks, months, quarters) can be specified by users
  • For the specified time period, users can view collections KPIs:
    • Collections effectiveness
    • Day Sales Outstanding
    • % Overdue
    • Average days past due
    • Turnover ratio 
  • Ability to specify a second time period, compare KPIs and see trends
  • Ability to view key metrics for the time period
    • Collections due
    • Collected on time
    • Collected late
    • Uncollected 
  • Ability to analyze cash flows in the defined time period using two visualizations
    • Collections by time: users can view invoices collected on time, late and uncollected in the defined time period at various time intervals
    • Collections by customer: users can view invoices collected on time, late and uncollected for the customer in the defined time period
  • Ability to drill into invoice payments from any of the visualizations and for any of the periods
  • Ability to specify filters at the invoice payment drill down level
