Release Date: 10.27.2023
Summary:
In this release, Centime has introduced a new feature that enables the invoice approvers to edit details of the invoice before approval.
Features in this release:
Features
Feature 1: Invoice approvers can now edit document details pending their approval
Details:
When the new setting, ‘Enable approvers to edit invoice details’ in the ‘Document settings’ section of Payables settings is toggled ON, all or selected invoice approvers are able to edit the details of the invoice document pending their approval.
By default, this setting will be toggled to ‘NO’ for all clients.
When the Invoice approver clicks on the document to view the details, they will now be able to edit the document details.
When they save the details, the document will be checked for duplicates. When no duplicates are found, the approver can then approve the document as needed.
When duplicates for the document are found, the invoice is flagged as a duplicate and the invoice approver cannot take any action on this document.
Editing the details of the document does not reset the workflow of the document and if no duplicates are found, the document is not checked again for compliant approver according to the invoice approval policy.
An invoice approver cannot modify the approvers for a document.
