In this release, Centime has introduced key enhancements to its invoice payment flow to facilitate prompt payment approvals.
New Features & Enhancements
Enhancement 1 : Invoice payment approvers will be notified of new payments pending approval by email and in-app notification.
Solution: Manage Payables
Details:
i. When an invoice payment is scheduled and is pending approval as per the approval policy, the approver/s will receive an email and an in-app notification under the notification icon in the Centime header bar.
ii. The CTA for the notification will take the user to the ‘APPROVE’ tab under ‘Unpaid invoices. All invoices pending approval are listed under the ‘APPROVE’ tab.
iii. Once a notification is reviewed, the notification will be dismissed from the notifications tab.
Permissions needed to access this feature:
In Manage Payables, users should have the following permissions:
- Approve payments
- Reject payments
New Features & Enhancements
Enhancement 2 : Centime will calculate the exchange rate for an FX invoice payment when marking the invoice as paid in Manage Payables.
Solution: Manage Payables
Details:
i. For FX transactions, when the user marks the invoice as paid in Manage Payables, the User will now have to input the payment amount in USD.
ii. When the payment amount in USD is entered, Centime will calculate and display the exchange rate for the payment.
iii. After confirmation, the user can review and mark the invoice as paid. The payment is posted on the GL and the invoice is moved to the ‘Paid invoices’ tab.

In Manage Payables, users should have the following permissions:
Schedule payments and manage the AP workflow (recall, mark paid, post)R2.14 Fixes
To maintain consistency in the language used across Centime, the collections category in KPIs and Insights will be renamed as 'Receivables'.
