To enable the clients to reduce their past due receivables effectively, Centime has introduced key Receivables features in this release.
New Features & Enhancements
Enhancement 1 : Send invoice as a pdf attachment in all customer reminder emails
Solution: Manage Receivables
Details:
For Centime QuickBooks and NetSuite clients:
i. In the Manage Receivables solution, original invoice pdfs are pulled from the general ledger and saved as a document that can be accessed from the ‘Unpaid invoices’ or ‘Paid invoices’ tab.
ii. Users can click on the ‘View Invoice’ icon next to the invoice to view the invoice under the ‘Unpaid invoices’ and ‘Paid invoices’ tabs.
iii. When a reminder email is sent to customers, ad hoc or through reminder campaigns, the invoices are sent as pdf attachments in the reminder emails.
iv. Users from a business entity with access to Manage Receivables can access the invoice documents in the ‘Unpaid invoices’ and ‘Paid invoices’ tabs.
v. In the scenario when an auto upload fails for an invoice, the user can manually upload the invoice by clicking on the ‘Add invoice’ icon. If an invoice document is not uploaded, then the reminder emails for the corresponding invoice will not have any attachments.
For Centime QuickBooks Desktop clients:
i. Users can upload the original invoice document in pdf format for desired invoices.
ii. When a user wants to send an invoice as a pdf attachment in the reminder email to a customer, the user will have to upload the document by clicking on the ‘Add invoice’ icon next to the invoice in the ‘Unpaid invoices’ tab.
ii. Once the invoice document is uploaded and saved, for all reminder emails sent for this invoice, ad hoc or through a campaign, the invoice will be sent to the customer as a pdf attachment in the email.
iii. All users from the business entity who can access Manage Receivables will be able to upload and access the invoice documents in the ‘Unpaid invoices’ and ‘Paid invoices’ tabs.
Permissions needed to access the feature:
Users who can access the Manage Receivables solution can access this feature.
Feature 2 : View and sort invoices by the newly added ‘Days past due’ column in the Manage Receivables solution
Module : Manage Receivables
Details:
i. Users can now view and sort invoices based on the days overdue in the ‘Days past due column.
ii. The number of days is calculated based on the current date and the due date.
iii. Users can click on the ‘Days past due’ column header to sort the invoices in ascending or descending order of overdue days.
Permissions needed to access the feature:
Users who can access the Manage Receivables solution can access this feature.
Fixes
In Manage Payables, when invoice payment is posted directly in General Ledger, the invoice is moved to the ‘Paid Invoices’ tab, the status is changed to ‘Paid in General Ledger’ and a description ‘Status changed to paid in general ledger’ is added in the invoice history.
When a default funding account is unlinked for a payment method, then the scheduled invoice payments from this account are canceled and the invoices are moved to the ‘Unpaid invoices’ tab with an alert icon and status as ‘Ready to pay.
