Summary: This article reviews the two ways in which you can submit invoice documents into Centime and their requirements.

File requirements
- Accepted file types: PDF, PNG, or JPEG.
- File should contain one invoice. Use a PDF splitter to split documents containing multiple invoices.
- Less than 20MB per file
- Document should be from a supplier active in the General Ledger.
- Can be typed or handwritten
Upload a document
To add a document directly into Centime, navigate to the Documents tab and click on + ADD.
You can drag and drop your documents into the indicated area below. Alternatively, clicking on that area will open up a window on your computer to search for and select the files. You can upload several files simultaneously.
Submit via email
To email documents into Centime, attach the documents and send them to the email address created specifically for your business entity. You can attach multiple files in one email, however, one file should correspond to only one invoice, as each attachment will be captured as a separate invoice document in Centime. Filtering is in place to prevent email signature images from being captured as invoices (based on image size).
Your email will be in the format docs+business_entity_name@centime.com. You can verify the email in the add document window.
Post Submission
Submitting a document will trigger invoice capture, which extracts required data points from the document. After that process completes, a new document record will appear in the documents tab for review, approval routing (as needed), posting, and payment.
